Update
We’re close. In one day I got the full amount need to keep my job, but that is the bare minimum. I’m still in need of $1,500. But, after that I wouldn’t have to ever talk about fundraising again!
I can’t say thank you enough to everyone who has kept me in your prayers and those who have donated to help bring Kingdom.
This week I’ve spent all my work hours focusing on fundraising. This means I didn’t go into the office, I handed over all of my projects to co-workers, and I spent a lot of time at a local coffeeshop.
Stepping back from the office has been like a breath of fresh air. After sitting down to breath, I realized I haven’t really traveled for over a year now and I have never really gone on a vacation in the past 2+ years I’ve worked at Adventures. So when they say rest is good, it really is. I was on the path to burnout.
Really, I was there. I was burnt out.
A lot of my time this week has been spent on self care and swimming in things that are good for me like a crap ton of coffee, Jesus, and books. I found a different kind of freedom this week. And I mulled over a lot knowing that the Lord is working and there are a lot of unknown factors right now.
This is short, but I wanted to keep y’all updated.
